Policies, Procedures and Agreements

Services: I offer both psychotherapy and coaching, depending on your goals and needs. Psychotherapy focuses on mental health treatment and follows professional licensure and insurance guidelines. It can be billed to insurance for clients residing in Minnesota or within eligible virtual networks. Coaching clients or clients located outside the state of Minnesota may access services on a private-pay basis as coaching or consultation.

Standard rate: $175 per 55-minute session. Packages available for a discounted rate.

Insurance and Third-Party Payments
If you plan to use insurance, please contact your insurance company directly to verify in-network status, mental or behavioral health benefits, and any deductible or co-pay requirements. While many plans provide coverage, benefits vary, and clients are responsible for any portion not covered by their plan. Please notify your provider promptly of any changes to your insurance or payment information so billing remains current.

Superbills can be provided to support out-of-network reimbursement or HSA/FSA use.

Payment
Payment is due at the time of service for deductibles, co-pays, co-insurance, self-pay sessions, and late cancellation or no-show fees. Unpaid balances may result in a temporary pause in services until payment arrangements are made.

When billing is handled through Lyn-Lake or Headway, their separate payment policies apply. Payments can typically be made by credit or debit card, ACH transfer, or HSA/FSA card.

Missed Appointments and Cancellations
I hold your session time just for you. Please provide 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or changes so that I can offer the time to someone else who may need it.
• Less than 48 hours: $80 fee
• Less than 24 hours or no-show: $120 fee I understand that life happens—illness or emergencies can arise—and I’ll always do my best to respond with understanding. Thank you for respecting both your time and mine.

Please note: Cancellation fees cannot be billed to insurance and are the client’s responsibility.

Confidentiality and Access to Information
Your confidentiality and privacy are top priorities. All records are maintained in accordance with HIPAA and professional ethics. If you would like a partner, family member, healthcare provider, or anyone else to have access to your records or communicate with me about your care, a Release of Information (ROI) form must be completed. ROI forms are available upon request.

Telehealth Informed Consent
Telehealth sessions are conducted through secure video platforms such as Google Meet or Zoom. If you are using insurance, you must be physically located in Minnesota at the time of the session and have an emergency contact on file. Please verify your insurance coverage and understand your plan’s telehealth benefits.

Corinne is licensed in the state of Minnesota, USA. Clients residing or temporarily located outside Minnesota who wish to meet privately may do so under a coaching or consultation agreement, rather than as therapy.
